Hi folks
First of all, may I wish you and yours a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2011. I hope it is a good one for you.
For me, the first few months are starting to look busy – especially April – as I have a few lectures coming up. First, on Thursday 24th February, I will be visiting Kilmarnock Magic Circle at their headquarters at Galston Community Centre, Orchard Street, Galston to present my “A Force Much Greater Than Luck” lecture starting at 7:30pm. Non-members are welcome and there is a charge of £5. Kilmarnock Magic Circle is one of the most enthusiastic clubs I have come across in Scottish magic, so I am looking forward to visiting them to have a wee chat – interrupted by a bunch of card tricks! For more details, please contact Kilmarnock Magic Circle.
My next lectures take place on successive nights in April. First, on Tuesday 12th April, I will be in Birmingham to visit the British Magical Society. The lecture will be at their headquarters at The Selly Oak Ex-Servicemen’s Club on Selly Hill Road in the Selly Oak area of Birmingham starting at 7:30pm and if you would like to go along, you need to either be a member of another magical society or be known to one of the members there. You can get more details by contacting the BMS.
Then the following night, Wednesday 13th April, I will be visiting Wolverhampton Circle of Magicians in, you guessed it, Wolverhampton. They meet at 7:30pm at the West End Working Men’s Club, Merridale Street, Wolverhampton with the lecture starting at 7:45pm sharp. For more details, please get in touch with Wolverhampton Circle of Magicians directly.
If your society might be interested in booking my lecture, you can read a wee bit about it on my Lecture Page and if you would like more details, please contact me.
Speak soon.
The Cardman 🙂
